Why use PDFDog

Private by design

Your file is processed directly in your browser: it is never uploaded to a server. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.

Free, no sign-up

Use it as often as you like without creating an account, and download your file without a watermark.

Orientation saved for good

The turn is written into the pixels, not just a hidden EXIF tag, so the image shows the right way up in every app, website and form.

Frequently asked questions

How do I rotate a picture?

Add the image, click Rotate left or Rotate right until it is the right way up, then click Save rotated image and download it.

How do I flip or mirror an image?

Click Flip horizontally to swap left and right (useful for mirrored selfies), or Flip vertically to swap top and bottom. You can combine flips and rotations.

Why does my photo appear sideways on some sites?

Phones often save photos as they were taken and add an EXIF tag saying how to turn them. Some sites ignore that tag. PDFDog applies it, lets you correct the result, and saves the image already turned, without the tag.

Does rotating reduce quality?

The image is not resized: every pixel is kept. PNG stays lossless and keeps its transparency; JPG and WebP are re-saved at high quality.

Is Rotate Image on PDFDog really free?

Yes. Rotate Image is free to use without an account, and the file you download has no watermark.

Are my files safe?

Your file is processed directly in your browser: it is never uploaded to a server. PDFDog cannot see, keep or share its content.
